    Munderingskompagniet / MDK was founded in 2006 by the Danish designer Stine Busk. She has enjoyed great success in creating fashionable leather jackets for women of all ages. Since the brand emerged, its focus has always been on creating the highest quality items at an affordable price tag.

    The name Munderingskompagniet is composed of the word "mundering", an old Danish term for a soldier's uniform and the word "kompagni" which also has military references. Since 2009, the name has been abbreviated to MDK to assist the company's international customers who may find pronouncing the original word too difficult.

    An MDK leather jacket is created to be worn for all occasions. It is a jacket you can throw on when you go to work but can also be the one you wear to a party. It is the jacket that hangs faithfully in your closet season after season - the sustainable alternative that only gets more beautiful with age.
